Now, my cancellation policy has different tiers depending on how close you are to your booking date. If you cancel more than 30 days before your scheduled arrival, you’re in luck. You’ll get a full refund, no questions asked. I know things come up, and life can be unpredictable. Maybe you got a last – minute work assignment, or there’s a family emergency. I get it. So, I want to give you that peace of mind knowing that if something goes wrong well in advance, you won’t lose your money.
But if you cancel between 15 and 30 days before your arrival, it gets a little different. You’ll get 50% of your money back. This is because at this point, I’ve already started making some non – refundable commitments. I might have ordered special food for your stay, or the staff has already blocked off their schedules to serve you. So, while I still want to be fair, I also need to cover some of these costs.
If you cancel less than 15 days before your arrival, unfortunately, no refund will be issued. I know this might seem harsh, but by this time, most of the preparations are already done. The tents are set up, the supplies are bought, and the team is ready to go. Canceling at the last minute means I can’t easily re – book the site, and I’m left with all these expenses.
Now, there are always exceptions to the rule. If there’s a natural disaster, like a big storm or a flood, that makes it impossible for you to come, I’ll give you a full refund or let you reschedule for another time. I believe in being flexible when there are circumstances beyond our control.
Another thing to consider is that if you book for a longer stay, say a week or more, and you decide to cut your trip short, you won’t get a refund for the remaining days. Luxury camping is all about the experience, and once you’re here, I want you to make the most of it. But if something really serious happens during your stay, like a sudden illness, we can work something out on a case – by – case basis.
I also want to mention that if you’re part of a group booking, the cancellation policy applies to the whole group. So, if one person in the group decides to back out, it doesn’t change the refund terms for the rest. It’s important to communicate with your group members before making a booking to avoid any misunderstandings.
Now, you might be thinking, "This all sounds good, but what if I need to change my booking instead of canceling?" Well, if you need to change your dates, I’m happy to help as long as the new dates are available. There’s no extra fee for changing your reservation more than 30 days in advance. But if it’s less than 30 days, there’ll be a small administrative fee. This is just to cover the time and effort it takes to adjust the schedules and arrangements.

But they’re in place to make sure that everything runs smoothly for everyone involved.
